Forge · reimagined gamified personal finance

Life is a game.
Why not win?

Forge is financial education you actually play. Your real money drives a kingdom you can walk through, fight in and rebuild, and every lesson is something you do rather than something you read.

The Forge home screen: a character in a forge, a Forge Score of 297 out of 1000, and the day's quest.

Turn your phone sideways and you are in the kingdom.

Not a separate app and not a separate save. The same character you just built, carrying the coin your real money earned, walking a world that got stronger because you did.

The vision

Forge is the intersection of financial behaviour change, deep gamification, live financial data and personalised guidance, built to empower the world to be in control of their money.

Forge your financial future.

Why nothing has worked yet

You have quit a personal finance app before.

Pitfalls of personal finance apps

What if your financial life was a game?

Games solved this decades ago. Visible progress, an obvious next step, and a reason to come back tomorrow. Forge points that at your real money, which means the game has to be driven by what you actually do rather than by taps.

The daily loop

Two minutes, most days.

  1. The Daily Brief

One short read each morning: what moved overnight, where the market stands, what your money did, and the single thing worth doing today. Free, every day, forever.

  2. One real move

A quest chosen for your actual situation. Move something to savings, kill a subscription, make the call you have been avoiding. Real actions, not taps.

  3. Watch the score

Your Forge Score runs from 0 to 1,000 across seven pillars: earning, keeping, growing, shielding, owing, patience and bond. Most of it is money that is actually yours. The rest is showing up.

  4. Then the kingdom

Spend what you earned. Walk the towns, take the fights, push the story forward. The part you come back for once the habit is already built.

What it is

Two halves that need each other.

A finance app that does the work

Connect your accounts and Forge reads the real picture: cash flow, runway, debt, what you own. It turns that into a plan for the week and a single number you can watch move. Connecting a bank is optional. You can enter your numbers by hand and play the whole game.

A kingdom that answers to it

A hand painted 2D world with towns, people who remember you, a debt dragon and a story about a forge that went cold. Progress there is earned by what you do with money here. It is a real game, not a progress bar wearing a hat.

The Realm screen: net worth, assets against liabilities, and how much is safe to spend.

The money, plainly

How it ties together

The kingdom is not a reward. It is a mirror.

Most gamified finance apps bolt a game onto a budget: do a chore, collect a badge, and the badge means nothing. Forge runs the other way round. What you learn changes what you do with your money, and what your money does is what moves the game.

That chain is why the learning sticks. You are not reading about compounding, you are watching a kingdom you own get measurably harder to knock over. And the reason it holds up is that the bottom of the chain is real: live bank data, not a number you typed in to feel good.

Your money, played. Education, behaviour change and a real game, in one loop, where each one is the reason the next one works.

The quest engine

Something worth doing today, chosen for you.

Forge never picks at random. All 626 quests are written by hand and tagged with the conditions that make one worth doing: how many months you have saved, whether high interest debt is still on the books, whether this month is running ahead or behind, whether a goal has slipped off pace. A quest reaches your board only when every one of its conditions holds against your real numbers.

So a debt quest never lands on someone with no debt, and investing never jumps the queue in front of an emergency fund. The order is the point.

Each quest carries its own quick steps, so the ask is never vague, and each one says how it is proved. Some are checked against your ledger. Some rest on your word. Some are proved by the answer you write, in your own words, kept where you can find it.

Ground zero, or already in flight

The same engine has to serve someone opening an overdrawn account with no plan and someone who is doing fine and only wants the next right move. Same library, same rules, different starting line. The conditions decide which of the 626 you were ever going to see, and the first one is always small enough to finish today.

Why it exists. Change the financial life of one person who opens it, and the whole thing was worth building.

What already exists

Further along than most things you get asked to wait for.

Plaid production access, approved

Not a sandbox and not a demo. Forge is cleared to connect real bank accounts through Plaid, the same infrastructure behind the finance apps you already use.

Money and trust

What we will and will not do.

We do not sell your data

No advertising, and nothing about your finances is sold or shared to rank what you see. The subscription is the business model, on purpose.

Bank connection is optional

Link accounts through Plaid for the real picture, or type your numbers in. Forge is not a bank and never holds or moves your money.

Not financial advice

Forge is an education and habit product. It will not tell you what to buy, and it is not a substitute for a professional who knows your whole situation.

Built for the long game

Nothing in Forge rewards trading more, spending more or taking on risk. It rewards consistency and understanding, because those are what actually compound.

Who it is for

Built for people who want to be good with money and have not enjoyed trying.

And for those who already have a fully forged financial kingdom.
